The difference between the two waves of the poll:
During the 2nd wave of the research it was important to monitor the dynamics of some important issues that were measured during the implementation of the 1st wave survey, which are the following:
Importance of citizens’ participation in the parliamentary elections;
The readiness of citizens to take part in the elections in spite of the possible second wave COVID-19;
Level of support to political parties in the race among the population;
Public awareness of the voting procedures related to COVID-19;
What reasons prompt the decision which party to vote for;
Public awareness that the use of an administrative resource is a violation of law;
Probability of using the administrative resource in the parliamentary elections 2020;
Public awareness that vote buying is a violation of the law;
Probability of vote buying during the parliamentary elections 2020;

This public opinion poll is carried out under Voter Education Component of the “Nonpartisan Domestic Election Observation in the Kyrgyz Republic” Project implemented by the Common Cause Public Foundation, with support from USAID. The team of Common Cause believes that the findings of the public opinion poll will help inform citizens of the country, media, political parties, civil society institutions and decision-makers about important issues related to the upcoming elections.

Interview with Aida Suyundueva, head of the Common Cause Public Foundation. A team of about 500 domestic independent observers will monitor the upcoming elections of the next Parliament of Kyrgyzstan. Such a large group is being trained and thoroughly prepared by a team of professionals from the Common Cause Public Foundation within the framework of the "Independent Monitoring of Parliamentary Elections" project. It is a non-profit organization established specifically to monitor the next election process.

The Public Foundation "Common Cause" conducted a sociological research "Parliamentary elections through the eyes of voters" in order to find out what impact the coronavirus pandemic had on the political mood of Kyrgyzstanis and to reveal their willingness to take part in the parliamentary elections on October 4, 2020.
The research was carried out by Erfolg Consult, which was selected through a tender selection. The target group was made up of Kyrgyz citizens from 18 to 66 years old and older. Number of participants: 1500 people, including 530 urban residents, 970 rural residents.

The Common Cause Public Foundation conducted a sociological survey on the upcoming elections to the Jogorku Kenesh. Aida Suyundueva, Chairman of the Foundation's Board, and Elmira Nogoibaeva, political scientist, have discussed current political processes and the sentiments of Kyrgyzstanis prior to the parliamentary elections on air at Kaktus.media.
