The Public Foundation "Common Cause" deployed 600 short-term observers to observe the elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh. They monitor the opening, voting, and closing and vote-count procedures at 300 randomly selected polling stations, the course of voting throughout the country.
The Foundation uses statistically based observation, an advanced election monitoring methodology that allows conclusions to be drawn that are representative of the entire country about specific electoral processes on election day.
Another 46 mobile teams have been deployed to monitor the situation around the polling stations. A call center in Bishkek helps collect information from the observers, while a team of lawyers analyzes information on violations identified and works on filing complaints. The work is coordinated by eight regional coordinators and 20 head office employees.
Monitoring of elections is carried out within the framework of the project "Independent observation of the elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for November 28, 2021", implemented by the public foundation "Common Cause".
